A propos de The Crow & The Deadly Nightshade

Bercé par le son de l’Amérique profonde, The Crow & The Deadly Nightshade – le Corbeau et la Belladone – est un groupe rock de trois parisiens initié en décembre 2006.
A travers leurs compositions, ils tentent de synthétiser au mieux l’acid-rock, le rock psyche, et le rock 70 de San Francisco (Jefferson Airplane, The Grateful Dead, Big Brother and The Holding Company, Quicksilver Messenger Service, etc.) avec celui de Denver (16H, Gun Club, Violent Femmes, Slim Cessna Auto Club, Creedence Clearwater Revival, etc.).

Un premier E.P. est sorti en mai 2008 (5 titres) complètement auto-produit et auto-réalisé et la sortie de leur premier album est prévu pour septembre 2009.
Un single est actuellement en écoute sur les bornes des Boutiques Sonores dans la rubrique « coup de cœur ».

Il s'agit avant tout de style, d'authenticité et d'amour.

We aim at federate bands playing « Psychotic Blues & Twisted Country », both a rock music coming from San Francisco (Jefferson Airplane, The Grateful Dead, Big Brother and The Holding Company, Quicksilver Messenger Service, etc.) and from Denver (Sixteen Horsepower, Gun Club, Violent Femmes, Slim Cessna Auto Club, Creedence Clearwater Revival, etc.).

So what? Just remember the old fire, when you could sing your blues and play guitar with your friends. Just listen to the old country music or the dirty rockabilly, Jack, Syd and Yann then : a three thin and strange guys with old hats and black rags full of holes ... You will certainly find something different, something true, something honest...
